Allow filters on RSS feeds

I sometime follow generalist rss feeds from academic sources, but I only want those that mention a subject I'm interested in.
Google Alerts don't work with all websites...

        Hi Petr,

Thank you for the quick reply. What will "saved searches" be exactly? I might be interested in beta testing...

As for the Mute Filters, they don't fit what I want to do. For example, image I only want articles from techmeme.com that mention the word "France" or "French". I can't do this with Mute filters for two reasons:
1 - It only works with excluding articles with specific words, while I want to only include articles with specific words.
2 - Mute filters apply to feeds, while my need is per source (for example, I have a want to have in the same feed all the articles from frenchweb.com (about french tech) and only the articles from techmeme.com (general tech) that mention "french" or "france").

I hope it makes my feature request clear? I'm available to beta-test anything you might have in this area... :)
