Roadmap

Suggest and vote on the next features that you would like to have in feedly Pro

I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
(thinking…)

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Filters for feeds

For each subscribed feed, allow the user to create exclusion filters on the article title with words or phrases. For example, the filter "*Miley*" could be used to filter out all Miley Cyrus articles. The goal is to automatically prune articles that are not of interest, greatly simplifying feed management.

    • Integrate Hootsuite into iOS apps

Hootsuite integration is available for the web app but I guess the majority of Feedly users use the mobile apps - just like me. The ability to send content to a Hootsuite account from the mobile app would be a huge improvement.

We are currently working on spec-ing out the integration of HootSuite on mobile, at the moment the integration is only available on desktop.

If you had upgraded for this feature on iOS specifically, please contact support (pro@feedly.com) and we will be able to help with a refund of your subscription.

      • A "smart" collection of all articles with annotations and highlights

The idea is that I can manage and find all articles with some annotations or highlights: I guess can be useful for research or study.

        • Warn when a feed that used to update frequently hasn't had an update in a while

Have a notification bar where Feedly would warn about broken or potentially broken feeds. For example:

"This feed used to update 2-3 times per week, but hasn't been updated in a month. Would you like to update the feed URL if the source has changed, or remove it from Feedly?"

or "Feed URL has been HTTP 404 for 2 weeks. Would you like to look for a new source from the site, remove the feed from Feedly, or keep waiting to see if the problem resolves itself?"

This feature would really help when websites undergo a redesign and change their…

This is a feature we are looking to bring to feedly.

There are different ways that we could identify “inactive/dormant”, “broken”, “dead” feeds.

We are exploring a couple of ways to resurface this information in your feedly and improve feed management.

          • Mobile: Option to hide categories with no unread items

This option already exists on desktop. Please bring it to mobile! Thanks.

            • Fix "Auto-Mark as Read on Scroll" functionality in "Card View"

Currently, when in Card View and with Auto-Mark As Read on Scroll enabled in Preferences, only the first—or left-most—item of each row is marked as read. Please fix this so that as you scroll all Cards scrolled past are auto-marked as read.

              Thanks!

              • Add undo feature for "Mark all read"

How many times have I accidentally hit "Mark as read" on either an entire feed, or even ALL the feeds. And I cannot go back and "unread" them. This would be great!

This is a very popular request and – we realize – the cause for a number of “mark all as read” incidents which can be highly frustrating and/or counter productive.

We’re looking into bringing this to feedly.

                • Add Must Read option in web version like in mobile client

In the mobile client there is the Must Reads menu item. This is a very useful tool and would be a great addition to the web version of the tool.

                  • Enable other "Sign In" options - not just Google

Google dropped Reader. So a Google account isn't really needed any more. Maybe drop the Google requirement? Would like to have more flexible login options.

                      Hi everyone,
Regarding sign-in options, 2 important blog posts were published since yesterday – as we first rolled out a Google+ login option, then decided to roll back on this.
The bottom line is that we are planning on offering more login options for feedly beyond Google oAuth.
For more details and updates, see the latest 2 posts on http://blog.feedly.com/

                    • OneNote: Control which OneNote binder to save an article to

I love that you have integrated OneNote. I would love it more if we could choose which notebook to send notes to (I have more than one notebook in my OneDrive).

                        Hi,
The ability to select a notebook/binder was not yet implement in the OneNote API when we worked with Microsoft for the integration of feedly Pro. As soon as they become available, we will work on adding those features to the feedly Pro integration.

                      • bring back Feedly Mini

Feedly Mini was genius. Awesome. It was unobtrusive and extremely helpful, especially for adding new sites to my Feedly or queue articles for "Read later".

Then Mini disappeared. Without much notice. Then it was promised Mini would return, with strange reasons given (like "a less obtrusive version will come. what?). One of your blog posts mentioned that it would return with the release of Feedly 17. But there is no Mini to be seen. Anywhere. Tweets about Mini are ignored and never answered.

Please. Bring it back. It's a major feature of Feedly.

                            Hi guys,
For info, the latest update of feedly desktop introduced a new “popular” section at the top of each category on feedly desktop.
We’re also working on ways to resurface popular content and make it easily discoverable throughout feedly.

I would like to be able to save searches or see a history of searches I've made so I can easily access them again.

For example, I just picked up a Galaxy Note 3 and search my feeds open for Galaxy Note to look for new articles or reviews on it. If I could see my search history and just click on the past search that would be helpful.
